It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and is naturally mold resistant. Milk paint provides a completely breathable coating and is ideal for painting wood, plastering, drywall and a variety of other surfaces. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and contains no VOCs. Milk paint comes in powder.
Milk paint gives you the ability to easily add distressing, chipping, flaking, rubbed or otherwise cottage chic appearance to give your pieces a one-of-a-kind vintage look. OR use the bonding agent for a non-distressed finish. A Milk Paint finish is unique and can range from a solid color to a stain, it all depends on how much water you add
With the 330g bag you will be able to do a project of approx. 100 sq. feet (9 m²). Simply mix this powder with water- it’s that easy!
Mixing: Mix approximately 1 part water to 1 part milk paint powder. Drying time is approximately 30 minutes. Lightly sand with a 220 grit sandpaper to smooth surface. Remove dust. A top coat is required to protect the paint and bring out the richness and depth of the color. We recommend MMS Hemp Oil for a 100% natural finish or MMS Furniture Wax for a hand-rubbed appearance. A polyurethane or varnish of your choosing may also be applied.
